CT 26 27mm -> TS 55

I have a CT 26 w/ the 27mm hose. I'm interested in getting the TS55 track saw, which I believe has a 36mm port? I'm searching all over and seems there's no adapter solution for this? Is it true I need to get a 36mm hose to connect to the saw?

Side question, is there a way to link the 27mm and 36mm hoses together? I'm guessing no, but that would take some sting out of buying a new hose.

Dust extraction connection dia. for TS55 - 27mm/36mm

There is no need for any adaptor to use a TS55 with the CT26.

Yes, the 27 mm hose will fit inside the dust port on the TS 55 while the 36 mm hose will fit around the outside of the same dust port. There is no need to purchase the 36 mm hose, but depending on which other tools you use, you may, as I did, decide you need the additional suction.

Pleasant surprise! Thanks for straightening me out. I was checking out the saw and noticed the port was bigger than my domino and assumed it required a larger port. I didn't realize the hoses were ambidextrous.

Hi,

    The Domino and sander ports , 1010 and 700 routers, maybe something else too, have ports that will only accept the D27 hose. The track saws, 1400 2200 routers, 850 plane, will accept either hose. Since all tools will accept the D27 hose , that is the hose that is supplied with the vacs.
