Hi folks, I've been away and have not yet opened my pool. Can I use a ct 26 to remove the water form the winter cover. I do not have access to a water filter element....Thanks

You do need to install the blue water filter in the CT26, and then it is possible to suck up water. Without the water filter you'll suck water directly into your motor which is kind of destructive.

Yes you can but you'll be busy emptying a pool with the 26 liter capacity of the CTL.
You have to remove the dust bag and replace the filter with the special blue ones (496169).

Thanks guys, I don't have a lot of water to remove, just that on the cover. It's back to bailing

I did that with mine, to get the leaves and water up off the cover, so basically I recommend it.

It is the main argument I would use for a 36 or 46, but for once a year emptying it out every few minutes is not a drama, and it saves enough $s in chemicals (should all that leaf litter fall into the pool), that the blue filter gets paid for.
