My CT 33 has just stopped vacuuming -- with the cord plugged in it will power the attached tool -- but the vacuum doesn't come on.  Either in automatic mode or in manual mode?  Have looked for some kind of breaker on the vacuum, but did not find one.  Has anyone else ever encountered this problem?  Thanks,

Bob

Festool vacs have a build in overheating protection. Were you using the vac at that moment? When the vac overheats it shuts off for a while to cool down. After the cool down it will start up again and work as normal.

If you were not using the vac so it couldn't have been hot, then you've got a real problem and you should contact Festool service department by phone.

I agree with Alex. I just had this happen to me earlier in the week. I just let it sit for while then turned on and it worked. This was the first time that has ever happened in the 6 years I've owned it.
