Hello
I have an 8 year old or so Ct36e that was seldom used. I had an outlet that was apparently double fed by mistake ( neutral was hot too) essentially making it 220 in which my vac got plugged into to. It ran super fast then electrical smell until I unplugged it. Once I figured out the electrical issue I plugged the vac back in and it runs but definitely slower rpm so the performance just isn't there. Bummed because it wasn't used much and would have lasted for years at my use rate. Anyways is this just a simple motor replacement or much more? Im assuming motor and turbine are one but hoping it's worth fixing. Any guidance would be appreciated. I reached out to festool about it and they said send it in for diagnosing but obviously paying shipping plus the initial charges plus parts and repair could approach a new one so i thought id check on here. never posted on here so grateful for some feedback. Thanks
Thanks
