CT Extractor Enhancements and Bluetooth Control - Video

It’s relatively cheap for a festool product so I’ll probably get it either way. I did order the tradesman kit for my setup so I can put it on the end of that hose... That said I think I may just attach it to my tool belt so I can turn it on or off no matter what tool I’m using.

Picked up the Bluetooth module at my local shop and when I got home and opened up the box it was empty! :-(.

It’s a 50 minute drive away. Fairly annoyed.

Festool issued a free sample kit for Showroom demos....i can guess what happened. [embarassed]
its easy done on accessory's but not on tools as we open each one to inspect and sort warranty etc.
i could tell a few tales about the things we find over the years...lets just say i'm glad we check everything before despatch.. [eek]

Yeah... They had it on the shelf with the other bluetooth modules - and when I picked up and handled the empty one and one with a module in it - you can't really tell the difference as the heaviest part is the manual.

Drove back and swapped it out - picked up a T18 while I was at it so it wasn't a total waste of time.

I'm glad to hear you were able to pickup the T18 so it wasn't a total trip in vain.

Did the store apologize for having an empty box on the shelf?  I wonder how common of an occurrence this is.  I guess the lesson we all learned is to open the box up to make sure everything is there before leaving the store.

They sort of apologized and sort of made it out to be my fault. It was kind of weird.

They’re all really nice so I think they were just poking fun / making light of the situation. I didn’t take it personally.
