CT Handel question.

anyone? talking about the two notches in the bottom mount. look like they are meant to hold something?

Are you talking about the parts that look circular?  If so, the boom arm rests onn one.  I don't know why there is a second one.  Otherwise, not sure I know which notches you are talking about.

Right, the boom arm, or I think the cleaning tubes go in the matching pair. but there are two more in the black plastic at the bottom. one in the center where the center screw hole is, and one more.

OK, here's a photo:

mavrick1903 - is this the bit you mean?

jonny round boy - assuming this is what mavrick1903 meant, have you any useful suggestions now that you've got your pic?

Yes, what are the notches labeled (A) and (B). (B) is not just a screw hole, other wise it would look like the recess to the left of (A). Any thoughts?

Since this is obviously a guessing game, here's mine: maybe they have something to do mounting accessories for the pneumatic sanders??

Sorry that I can't help. I've been looking for photos showing the accessories neatly mounted on the handle, but haven't found any so far.

I'm sorry, but this is on need to know basis only. Your security level is just not high enough right now.  [poke]

I have "just" a MINI, but my guess is that it is a typical example of German engineering. When you design something, you keep in mind older applications, but also future uses. Designing a high quality mold is very expensive, so if you can use it for more than one application, you have a winner.
