Somehow a buddy got the core of a CS 70 for $100.
With help from Europe, he was able to get the missing parts, the little things. They ordered from Festool Germany … it was a bouncing ball through several people. Eventually it got to the states.
Now he needs the long rails, but doesn’t know the dimensions of it. Festool won’t divulge the measurements.
He’s willing to get them made locally or find an equivalent substitute.
Might an owner of a CS 70 be able to measure the length and diameter of the rails?
