My understanding is that the handle is the same, but the brackets differ. But, as I only have the older CT22, I may be wrong.
OK, let's then measure also height of original CT22's handle (tube only, without attachment), I will measure then CT26's one when I get it.
About ten years ago, I wished to purchase a second set of cord clips to mount onto my CT22's handle so I could have two sets of clips. At that time they didn't offer the parts separately and I had to order a second handle to get the clips.
Yes, I found that discussion about CT handle, some user named "Samurai Dave" also wrote there:
"
An alternative to purchasing a whole CT Handle kit is to purchase the 454736 "Tube support (CT-HANDLE)" from Festool USA for $19.60 + $10 shipping. It contains everything that comes with the CT Handle kit, but the metal tube handle; all the plastic parts including the bolts and nuts to mount it. I had to order it directly from Festool USA since my dealer couldn't find the part number. Festool USA confirmed it could not be "seen" by dealers, and they have asked Germany to add it to the list of dealer-available items.
You will also need one of the 452837 "Cable Hook" kits, for $7.10. It comes with a pair of the cable hooks, so don't order 2 kits like I did..."
I see that these two part numbers are still available here in Europe in some online shops.
You may be better off making you own cord clips to fit as the Festool cord clips are a little on the small size for the cord. These days I simply wrap the cord around the posts for the Boom Arm's stabilizers.
Well, original CT26's wrap (in attached picture) seems to be about same size if not even smaller than CT22's wrap. For my needs it is ok, anyway my CT 99% of time will be stationery used and cable wrap will hold not all amount of cable.
And, honestly, I'm getting somewhat "tired" and lazy with age, so, when it's possible to assemble something from ready available parts, I do so. [big grin]
