The auto switch receptacle on my CT 22 is so loose, when plugs are inserted into it. The plug on my sanders don't stay anchored and so the auto switch stops working or only working intermittently. I have had my vacuum for about two years, but it hasn't been in regular use that whole time. I have tried slightly pushing the metal tynes on the plugs apart but it doesn't help, clearly the receptacle is failing.
I guess the biggest beef i have concerning this CT22 is how you can't anchor any chords in the receptacle, they always pull out! I understand that when you work inside you don't want to trip on a chord and cause a sander to fly across the room, but i work outside and it sucks being up a 28 or 32 foot ladder and to have the cord always coming out of the vacuum! Maybe if the sanders had grounded plugs it would help.
Any comments?
