CT22 connection to Hitachi miter saw?

Has anyone connected the CT22 to any non-Festool mitersaws?  I have a Hitachi with a 50mm dust port that is too large for the Festool 27mm hose or any adapter that Festool has in their catalog.  Ideas appreciated!

A couple of options, get the 50 mm hose from Festool or try a non-Festool hose on the CT. I think both will work.

Hi,

        I know for sure that Shop Vac brand hoses fit the CT 22 33.  If the Hitachi takes tat size too you are all set.

  I have the Hitachi-C10FSH and the Shop Vac size hose will not fit. I ended up putting a rubber plumbing fitting

over the dust outlet and snugging down the hose clamps. Cost about $4.00 at most hardware stores.

Thanks for the info and link Mike.  I tried the shopvac route and you are correct. The rubber fitting will work fine for my needs.
