ct22 hooked to Dust Deputy

I've got the ct22 vac and the new plastic version of the Dust Deputy.  How do you guys who have the same setup hook the two together for transport?  It's a pain to have to move both and the hose is too short to allow the DD to sit on top of the ct22. ???

I used a longer hose to reach while setting on top.  Just plain dust collection hose form woodcraft.  They also have the adapter to go between the hose and the vac and cyclone.  Its the same as the ones on the black hose that come with the dust deputy.

Does this Dust Deputy have an effect on how much "sucking" power your CT has with it attached?

Noticeable? or not?

It reduces it but its not noticeable unless your using a really long hose or trying to use two hoses with the Y adapter.  I've thought of making mine with solid smooth-wall piping to increase the efficiency.  I plan on making mine a stationary unit with a wall mounted boom arm that will have more hose length than the festool boom arm.  The extra piping will may reduce the suction with the dust deputy and the flexible piping.

I'd like to see your new setup with the longer hose.  I have the boom arm and it's kind of a pain manuevering the contraption around.  I have a small area (about the size of a 1 car garage) so I could easily place the ct22 in one spot and snake some hoses to the different locations I would be using tools.  All my tables are on rollers (2 0180 Mft's, 1 Walko) so when winter comes and the 4x4 resides in the garage and not the barn, I have to "share".

Can you take a picture of your one car garage set up?  I also only have the space of a 1 car garage to work in.  I would like to see how you have it set up because I am in the process of making some renovations in my garage.
