just wondering if its ok to run a harbor freight 2hp dust collection off the CT22 socket. that way, I can use both at the same time and have both start with one click of the remote starter, hehe.

hf dust collector

for now would be used on the tablesaw. I don't have a splitter yet to also pull from the guard. And in the future for a router, DC would handle the cavity while the CT22 would pull dust from the fence.

got the idea from david's post regarding his sawstop

I don't think that's a good idea.  The dust collector is likely to draw near 20 amps at start up so you'll trip the breaker.

That HF DC should be able to handle both the cabinet collection and fence/guard collection.  Use a splitter and some step down adapters (one for the cabinet, one for the guard), depending on your TS setup.

For example, for my Ridgid TS I have a short 2.5" hose going to the dust bag underneath, and a short 2.5" line going to the guard.  But both of them are connected to a single 4" line to the DC.
