CT26 for SawStop and Kapex?

Hi guys -

I've got a CT26 that's positioned to support my Kapex and all my other Festoolery on my MFT.  It, of course, works splendidly, but I'd like to extend it's usefulness even more.  Right now, a central dust collection system just isn't practical for my shop.  I make do by leveraging a mobile Rigid vac hooked up to a Dust Deputy that I drag around to all my stationary tools, like my jointer/planer, table saw, etc.

As my MFT, CT26 and SawStop are in close proximity, I'd was thinking about introducing another Dust Deputy or ClearVue CV06 and running hoses plus blast gate to both the MFT and table saw.  This would save me a huge amount of time and hassle having to run my shop vac and Dust Deputy over every time I fire up my table saw.

I'm not a "production shop."  So we are not talking about huge volumes here.

Is what I'm considering impractical?  What should I be thinking about?

Thanks in advance for your advice...

I use a CT26 with ultimate dust deputy with a Bosch 4100 tablesaw (10-inch jobsite model). It does a fairly good job after I installed a plywood bottom and used painters tape to seal up  gaps and the openings to accommodate blade tilt. I need to get a zero clearance insert and I would like to rig up some type of dust collection from the top.

While good, it is nowhere near Festool quality. If I am cutting MDF on the table saw I will do it outside to keep the dust out of the garage. All in all I think it does an acceptable job for hobbyist use in a nondedicated garage shop. Of course, a central dust collection system would be much more effective, but that isn't practical for me at this point.

I don't use mutilpe hoses and blast gates, I just move the 36mm hose as needed.

Regards,
Anthony
