CT26 stopping

  Hi everyone, I have been cutting  tiger maple the past week, sux using your router as a jointer, what started happening yesterday was the Vac would just stop while still cutting?  Just before I tried again and the same thing happened but this time I got close enough to smell burning and felt more heat then I should be feeling. 

  Advice,  Is the motor shot for good or can I send it to a festool service center wherever they are?

Mike,

I am guessing your vac is still under warranty.  In any case call Festool Service. The number is listed on the tool (vac ) label and also in my sig line.

They will help you get it figured out.

Your motor might be shot or the brushes are worn and its time for some new ones (especially if it wont start at all).
