CT26

[Toddap]

I was sanding some face frames yesterday with my sander hooked up to my CT26 and it stopped working.  When I turn the extractor on manually it will start but turn off within a second or two.  Any suggestions?

First, welcome to the FOG.  If you were running the extractor for a long time it may have tripped the thermal shutoff.  Try the vac after it has had a chance to cool down.  If that doesn't work call Festool service.

Hey Brice, thanks for the welcome.  It wasn't running long, maybe 10-15 minutes.  When the shop heats up this morning I'll turn it on and see what happens. Happy New Year!

Mine would do that with liquids.
Something was dodgy in the sensor.

You could try to clean the base out especially the front under the hose where the water sensor is.

Sounds like you should send it in
