CT36 Boom Kit Assembly

Today I'm assembling my new CT36 and boom kit. I'm just about finished but have a couple of questions. How do you attach the 36mm hose to the boom? The boom bracket's diameter looks too small or do you put the 27mm hose in the bracket and attach the 36mm hose to it? The four brackets to attach the two stabilizer tubes came assembled. I can't get them apart. Is there a secret to doing that?

I used velcro tape wraps to attach the larger hose & have the smaller hose in the brackets.

Thanks for the suggestion Ron. Velcro straps sound like a good idea.
