Effectively the filters used on the festool vacs come out of the same factory that also produces (same sized)

You have really good vision if you can see holes as small as 0.4+ microns resulting from using compressed air.  [blink]

It wouldn't take much to make the filter less effective and the damage may not be perceivable to the naked eye.
