CTL paper bags are not very good

I just finished the second of the two paper bags that came with my CTL midi. The first one broke when I changed bags. No biggie, but a bit annoying anyway. The second bag opened up inside of the machine during use.  [scared]

This might be me filling the bags too much but there are simply no excuses for vacuum bags failing like that. It's not like I've been doing anything weird either: cutting, sanding and routing oak and mdf.

The problem both times was the cardboard around the hose opening letting go of the paper of the actual bag. I hope that the new fleece bags that I am installing after cleaning up this mess are going to be sturdier.

The paper bags are the old bags.. The new vlies bags are much much much better! You'll see!!

Hi you must have some old stock bags or a faulty batch I never change mine untill the extactor looses its suck and the bags are ramed solid never had an issue

and I use each bag at least twice

Yeah, he is right. My bags get so full it takes a lot of effort to get them out they are so cram packed into the unit! The effort it takes to get them out  I would think they would rip, they never  do. They come out like a solid concrete brick. I probably should'nt fill them so much.
