On the hose substitution I think I have substituted 3 times and Beaver Industrial is the dealer. I always use 36mm hose but have a short 3' whip of 27mm to fit sanders and trimmers. I carry a 12' and 18' 36mm for different job site conditions.
I always stretch a new 36mm hose with bungee cords in the sunshine for a day as I find it makes it much more flexible.
I'm about to order another mini and will substitute the stock hose for the longest 36mm hose listed in the catalogue which I believe is 7 meters.

I just did it myself. Much of my dust from hand tools is from my router and circular saw and will now be from my TS75 track saw as well. I think that creates a bias toward the 36mm hose. You pay for the dif even if the dealer is willing to do the switch. But that is only fair to the dealer who is putting himself through a fair amount of order hand holding to accommodate the customer. Can't expect him to take it on the chin as well.
So I will have a 36mm antistatic and a Bosch 27mm non-antistatic. I also have a spare Festool tool end and a Festool DC system end. I am likely to put the Festool DC end piece on the non-antistatic that I have. While the Bosch tool ends are very much like the Festools, the DC end fitting is just the tiniest bit smaller and does not create an airtight fitting when running it off to something like a DC system that you might have servicing your floor standing tools. The Festool fitting provides a snug, airtight fit. In fact, I might use both fittings that I have and make two shorter non-antistatic hoses out of the 5mm Bosch hose that I have. Not entirely sure how I would use three hoses.

The 27 has to fit into so many of my tool dust ports. If I had more of them that the 27 would fit over then it would bias me more toward the 27. I think all the sanders take a 27 that fits over the tool dust port. I just don't like the idea of having that big fitting inside the port further narrowing the dust passage. I would be more inclined to accept it if it was downstream of the tool a little bit. But I don't like it right at the port like that, not for tools that can produce as much dust as a TS75 or a router. In my case I already have a Bosch non-antistatic 27mm hose. So if I have a need for a 27mm, I have it. But even if it were an anti-static I would not go to it unless it was either going to fit over the dust port of the tool or be used on a tool that did not produce as much dust....maybe a TS55 instead of a TS75. The 55 does not have the same depth of cut capability of the 75. So it won;t produce the same volume of dust in instances when you are actually using the depth of cut of the 75.
