Phil, are you able to tell us yet how much this extractor will cost when released or give an indication of price point bracket? Just so I can put the money aside of course  ;).

Any details other than "Perfect extraction for fine dust then"?

I wonder how much that informative ad cost to do...

Sorry, not very good at intrigued and titillated.
More interested in proper information.

I got flamed a little for criticising Festool's videos last week, so I tread carefully here.

But I agree completely. They seem to not understand who their audience is. They make these almost "hipster-esque" advertising promotional videos with soft focus background, arty closeups and pan shots, etc. Then they do these teaser clips with almost a hint of arrogance to them.

We're not Apple fanboys salivating over the next iPhone, we're professionals who have to make informed purchases that make us money. We don't want teaser clips, we just want simple information information.

....fire retardant suit will not be needed  [smile]. Constructive and relevant comment is always welcome and listened to in these areas and we try to encompass all current Festool customers and also new customers, hence the initial release of the three videos.

Did anyone else notice the dust separator accessory. Is this similar to a dust deputy and would it be available for other vacuums? Not branded Festool and called a "
Luchs DS-45 Dust Separator.
