I'm still loving my pin-register domino. But as my jigs evolve, more and more I'm appreciating the ability to use the pins to reference in a plane. The more I'm loving it, the more scared I am of losing this one, or having something break.

How often do folks see pin-register dominos on the 2ndary market? (eBay, classifieds)

Ebay and Craigslist.

Remember you can buy Craigslist Items from out of state if the seller is willing.  I've done it.....use paypal and be sure you communicate on the phone not just email.

I happen to find a domino recently on craigslist in my area.  It was the older style with the accessory kit and domino systainer(80% full).  Paid $450.

James and Everyone,

To paraphrase words of the late Charlton Heston: "You will pry my original pin Domino from my cold dead hands!"

I also find the second generation paddle Dominoes very handy. I only one one of the pin-type and several of the paddle type.

Festool's dont end up on Craigslist in my area very often but when they do its usually a bargain.  The majority of people in my area dont know what festool is so the seller has a hard time getting a buyer.

The Domino I bought was used for one project....A kitchen table and some chairs.  It even came with all the bits.

Several years back I got an RO150(used for one project) for $150.  The key to getting a deal on anything is being patient and having the cash when the time arises.  If I wasnt already drained from other deals I would buy another 2grand in tools from the Recon sale.
