Finally got this project done. I did all the wood part not the metal I just helped the welder to do layout.  With festool it made my job easier, better and more efficient.  The owner really appreciated dustless sanding system  [smile]
 
Very nice woodwork and very nice metal work.  That house looks spectacular to boot.

Must agree with the Dustless sanding! Clients love it!  It even got me another job!    She asked if she had to close the door when I started sanding I was noo its fine!  If anything my Rotex will suck up any dust already on the floor! So you floor will be cleaner than before! lol  Any way when I finished my job she asked me seen as it does not create any dust if I could do some more oak flooring in the hall and sand the entire stairs down and replace the spindles and handrail!

Dustless working gets you more work!

Great job and yep that was a lot of work. About how much time?  The actual stairs are made out of solid what?

I probably spent around  160Hr  maybe more, I also did all trim in the house in between,    Center beam and post are metal, threads and rail is fir .
