I have only used bending ply a long time ago on a stage set, how do you get it to hold that shape? Are there blocks inside we cant see or..?

Neat build.  Did you laminate several pieces of the bendy ply and veneer to get it to hold the shape?  Any pictures of the construction?

Very well done.  Thanks for sharing!

It was done in a vacuum press using Ultra-CAT™ PPR Veneer Glue.  You have to use a type of glue which forms a hard solid bond so your panels don't have any spring back when they come out of the press and off the form.  I used two panels of 3/8" bending ply glued together.

Steve,
Nice work!  I've been vacuum pressing a lot of mahogany veneer onto plywood panels for a Chris Craft restoration but that's just boring flat work!
