Plus a few Domino ones:
Hi all, new here to the FOG.

Mike, a sterling job on the labels, after much searching and head scratching i cannot, for the life of me, find left and right TLOC labels for the EHL65E (non Q) planer.
Does anyone have them ?

These are my custom labels :)

I too have become bored of looking at those paper labels on the systainers so I took a shot at some custom labels.  I noticed most like pictures on theirs but the name seems to be good for me.  Although I may play around with some icons or something.  I did these in brushed aluminum but these can be lasered in a ton of different colors.

Nice! What laser do you have? Think thats going to be my major purchase for next year. Had my eye on the Epilog Mini 24.

Since this thread inspired me to make custom labels, I thought I'd share what I've learned.

Full overview can be read on my site.

  • Printing on PVC cards produces the best result.
  • Printing on laminated office paper is good enough.
  • I determined 34pt font was the minimum I was OK with.
  • The end result looks better if you print edge to edge.
  • I still don't have a solution for mini systainers. Maybe sticky PVC cards? Anything work for you all?
  • The products you can buy (i.e: the plastic covers from Festool) all gave poor results.
Check out the attached images, so that you can determine if custom labels are worth your time.

[member=73030]veeneck[/member] I simply use 4x6 glossy photo paper (inkjet printer) for all my custom labels. I use Microsoft Publisher for my layout/design work. Cut to size using Fiskars paper cutter. The SYS Mini 1 and 3 have different label pocket dimensions. I was dropping the mini 3 label in label pocket (similar to standard systainer) but found them sliding out. I now use SpeedTape from FastCap with positive results.

Ah, good tip. I haven't tried speed tape. I had the same problem with labels falling out on the mini's. I've yet to try the sticky backed PVC cards as well, so I'll compare the two.
