Customized T-Loc Handles (3D Printed)

Very cool, maybe light grey letters would look a little more subtle? Can anyone in the UK produce these please?

I think the letters would be easier to read from a distance if they were a little thinner.

I am definitely interested in some of the green/black ones. Let me know when you have figured out a price?

Thanks for the feedback. I'll keep tweaking the design. thinner letters,  etc. The examples above are Helvetica Bold, I'll try Helvetica and Helvetica Light.

I'm trying to make a list of the possible tool names for the t-loc plates, but am a bit confused about the proper spacing. For example, is it C15 or C 15, TS75EQ TS75 EQ or TS 75 EQ?

Hopefully I can get an online shop up this week to start taking orders. Those who have already messaged will be first to ship.

I am very interested in the cleat/latch kit. Please let me know when these are available for sale

THANKS!!

I would be interested in the cleat latch and the T-Loc Handles as well. They look great.

Festool generally uses spacing in between. Check the Festool USA site to see how they do it and you can't go wrong.

Hi Ben,

Are you able to make cleats and some sort of sliding fittings like what is found on the Festool/Tanos Sys Cart?  The picture shows how the cleats would be placed in the front and the sliding fittings on the sides.  The one shown is of the Tanos version, but I believe it is the same as Festool.

Awesome idea...any way to get the green to exactly match the official Festool green?  (Not sure if the resin can be mixed like paint.)  If not, I'd be more inclined to go with a gray color that closely matches the systainer, or a contrasting color.

Great idea!

Does your T-Loc handle center faceplate have Tanos-style latching tabs on the back?  Or are they flat and affixed with double-backed tape or adhesive?

They'll be flat on the back - you can see that in one of the pictures. I don't think it'd be possible to make them on this type of 3D printer with the tabs on the back too.

Oh man awesome ideas! I see this keeping you busy for a while. Thanks for sharing! I will be thinking of what to have you print.

Is it possible to add "ACC" in smaller font under the standard letters for labeling the accessory systainers?

Instead of adding ACC under the tool name for accessory systainers...make them a different color with the tool name on it.

@ Scott - They are flat on the back, but I added little half ellipses at 4 points to make a tight pressure fit. I would probably still recommend some adhesive or double sided tape to make them permanent, but they hold really well on their own.

Thanks for the feedback/suggestions. I'll have time tomorrow to do some tests.

Awesome!  .... oh and  [welcome]

Please count me in to order the T-Loc Handles!  (I have too many systainers stacked, and hard to find what I'm looking for from a distance. Your solution IS a solution!!) [tongue]

Cheers,

Frank

Ben - Welcome

I would be interested in handles and latches as well, please add me to your list.

Count me in too. I really like the cleats so that a stack can become a work surface.

I definitely need the first aid kit ones. I was thinking about ordering a couple systainers direct from Germany to get red and white ones for first aid kits.

Custom inserts - KTM - I use one for my motorcycle tools at the track
Bike  - I have one for all my cycle specific tools

I also use them for various computer related tools and parts. All just begging for custom knob inserts.

Awesome idea!!!

(BTW, I don't know what your store plans are, but selling on ebay could be done without a store and would only take a few minutes to create a listing. We could just put the color and label information in the purchase notes.)
