I have a job where being able to cut bevels both ways on the MFT would come in handy, so I am thinking about getting an MFT/3...... but, what to do with the 1080?
I was thinking of using it as a Kapex stand, but wouldn't it be nice if the Kapex top was the same height as the top of an MFT3? It looks as though the Kapex on the 1080 is about an inch higher than the MFT/3. I'm thinking about taking 1" off of the legs of the 1080 to make this work. It would also match the MFT/3 height using a systainer on the 1080. It's a little irritating that Festo didn't consider the height difference and lack of compatibility when designing the new table.
