Cutting metal with dsc/dsg ag125

Just wondering if the grinders can also take discs to cut metal?

Yes they can.
In essence they are just ordinary grinders only fitted with a special hood.
You can buy a grinder hood which fits these grinders and are sourced from the former Protool brand (#649346).
I don't think Festool sells this part separately.
