I had to cut some long thin cherry strips 1"1/4x3/4x9' that I couldn't do on the table saw do to space constraint.
I decided to cut them with the TS 55.
I joined two rails (1400 and 1900)
For support I used an MFT and a table extension (I got lazy and didn't join my two MFTs lengthwise so the board was over hanging a bit).
I used the 2 side stops of the hole drilling system to adjust the width of the strips. To stabalise the rails I did put some scrap of the same thickness as the board beeing cut under them.
Right after the cut
You can see how consistent the cut his, I couldn't find any deviation with my dial caliper over the whole length.
I used the fine tooth blade to do the cut (again I was lazy). There is almost no burning.
