Does anyone on here use the Chinese knock off cyclones with the 50mm ports.
I've got one and it's great but moving it around with the shop vac is a pain so I want to permanently mount both in the shop.
For me to be able to use the cyclone and mount it would mean using a 10 meter hose to the tool 'TS55 REBQ'.

Has anyone done this and used a long 10 meter, do you suffer with any loss in suction and where do I get a 10m 36mm pipe, festool prices for their pipe is out of justification for an enthusiast like myself.

I have seen 20m 35mm pipe for sale in the UK at a good price so will the Festool 36mm connectors fit?

I have successfully fit a 35mm hose onto the Kapex's 36mm connector by removing some material inside the 35mm hose with a Dremel (with a sanding drum). It may work if your 35mm pipe has a thick enough skin. If it is a permanent connection, softening the end of the 35mm hose with a heat gun may also help.

To make things easier to move around I mounted both the shop vac and dust deputy to a simple cart made from a cheap furniture dolly.

I don't have the pace for a tall dust cart, my shed is very small so I would prefer to build everything in to increase space.
