Last year when I got myself the CTL midi, I wanted a nice cleaning set to go with it (much like what you would expect to get with any other vacuum cleaner you will ever buy). Since that was before I got used to the Festool pricing, I considered the K-RS set to be silly expensive (and in fact about the same price as the cheap cleaning set that I bought just before the midi, including a vacuum cleaner). My sense of how much things should cost has since gone completely numb. Time to invest in a D 27/D 36 K-RS-Plus.
I always thought I wanted it to clean up after I'm done. That is still the case, but I use it even more to just clean up a bit every once in a while. Since the ct hose is always close at hand while working, just quickly removing the worst of the dust buildup on the floor gives a much cleaner worksite. This may not really matter to everyone, but since I am usually building things in my rather small apartment, it is a big deal to me.
If you don't have something like it already, I can highly recommend it.
