i received the up to £225 off voucher in the post a couple weeks ago, and I've been considering using it, have been playing with different combinations of tools to add to my collection.

The list I think I'm ready to order is:-

Sys lite duo
Ehl65
CTL Sys
ETS/EC 150
Of1010.

Does anyone know if the syslite duo is classed as a tool or an accessory? Can it be registered? If not I'll have to change it out to get the most out of the voucher.

These are all tools I can see myself using within the next few months but I could manage without them.

I was also considering the Planex, I tape and fill some of my smaller jobs myself but I hate pole sanding, just struggling with the initial outlay, and wandering is it worth buyin the package with the CTM36? I have a metabo vac with autoclean function that would work fine.

A bit more info.
The next few jobs are a couple of kitchens, then fitted wardrobes and all finishings on an extension I've just made wind and water tight.
I've also got to finish my own side project, a 4 bed, 152 year old house I've been renovating between jobs and at nights. So another kitchen and all finishings in that house.

Seems the voucher is tempting you to do exactly what Festool wants you to do.....spend a bunch of cash on green kool aid.

BTW, welcome to FOG.

Hi the Syslite Duo is classed as a tool and can be redirected,
A nice light the price did make me think, it's a lot for a light, got mine last year, had a kitchen and units to make and fit over winter, the best light I have worked with,so good I now have two, (note)  the lights are that good if you are looking for a good painted finish on wall's and woodwork then get one, they show every mark, the painters will hate them but your customers will love the finish.

Just wondering if any of you would have a spare voucher by any chance? would love to buy a Kapex 120 and Rotex Orbital!

Cheers,

Anthony

I'm from Canada. Was wondering if i found someone with that voucher, can i use it on a uk store (say axminster) and ship it over here?

Hi, I've fallen into the same trap lol! Ive just spent £1000 on Festool kit with Folkstone Fixings to get the £100 off. So that's a lot of new goodies coming my way

If you have a fair bit of drywall / walls / Ceilings to sand, I would pull the trigger on the Planex, it eats distance!!

I've just placed my order, with Nuts and bolts. It's my biggest outlay in festool in one hit, but getting the full benefit of the voucher.

Not sure about using a voucher from abroad, when buying online you have to send the voucher to the retailer with a copy of your invoice. The retailer has to receive it before the end of July.
I'd say the fall in the value of the £ Will be a bit of a saving tho. Lowest it's(£/$) been since 1985 I've just heard in the news.

As for the planex, I've got my whole house to tape and fill, 180 sheets plasterboard(8'x4') And could price for the extension I'm working on as well another 70 sheets, and maybe the kitchen I have to do shortly. It's another string I could add to my bow, just need to decide if it's a road I'd enjoy going down.

N & B is the dealer I bought most of my hoard from, if you have that much plasterboard to do, I wouldn't hesitate to get the planex!
