Date of Mfg. for Midi

How can I tell from the serial # the date of manufacture. Selling and need to know for buyers.

The only way I could tell you the manufacturing date from the serial number would be to have Germany look it up. I looked at my CT 22 and there's a date on the same label holding the serial number and other information in the form of 05/06, meaning it was built in May of 2006.

I don't have a MIDI here at my house, but it may be worth checking again.

PS - Are you sure it's the manufacturing date you need or is it the purchase date, which is what the warranty is based upon.

I think I bought it in 08. TS55 was bought in 1/07 but # on Midi starts with 1007 and don't have the sale marked in check book as vac.
Will have store check records. No warranty involved.

I have a Mini, not a Midi, but I'd assume the labels are similar. The date of manufacture on mine is at the top left of the label, to the left of the Festool logo.
