Hi all
My ct22 cut out on friday. This is the first time it has ever misbehaved.
I had been using it for about 40 minutes when it stopped. over the last week I have been sanding Toupret powered filler on walls. Aware that the stuff clogs the bags I have been quite diligent with regard to cleaning off the filters and tapping the bags.
I confirmed that power was running into the ct22 and let it rest for an hour or so. later it started up fine. I concluded that a thermal cut out had tripped and then reset itself once things had cooled down.
On sunday I used it for about 30 minutes. Went to use it a couple of hours later and it was dead again. This morning i went to use it and it is still dead.
I don't have a multimeter or torq drivers on site and so will have to look at it tomorrow.
Any suggestions as to the most likely causes? I have looked for the exploded parts diagram on the festool site but can't find anything other than the user manual.
Thanks
