Depth gauge recommendations

I need to bag using my combo square as a depth gauge for my router bit height.  I probably need something digital - with an easy to read gauge... that is also easy to use.  I also have a vernier caliper, but that is now too difficult to read, now. Any recommendations? Thanks.

Like it a lot - for both router bits and table saw.  both height and distance from cutter to fence.

We used these in class: http://www.woodpeck.com/paolini.html  Paolini pocket rule. I think they would also work as great depth gauges. They are one time tools so will have to hunt for one.

Wixey has a mini digital depth gauge that looks interesting. I'm a luddite and use a rule.

Thanks, guys.  The Kreg looks easy, but I use solely metric measurements, now. I love Woodpecker tools, but theseare unavailable. The Wixey looks good, but has a degree of accuarcy of +\- .25 mm.  The Lee Valley Digital Height Gauge looks good. I found another height gauge with slighty better accuracy +\- .1mm and a pretty good price on their site.  It may be another cheaply made piece of juck that they have typically been pushing lately.  What do you think?

Having read this thread (and being in the market for a digital device) I quite like the two digital solutions offered by Lee Valley.

IIRC, I bought that gauge labelled Wixey from Rockler for about $16.

I'm betting even money that Lee Valley's is identical.

I like it fine for router table and table saw work.

As far as I am concerned, the only thing I have seen that was practical and very well engineered is the TS Aligner by Ed Bennett. I read through his whole website and his instrument is top dog. If you look at how he measures a 45 degree on the blade for example, is ingenious. The only thing is, is you cannot make contact with him. His web site is still there but no Ed. I tried for over a year to find the gentleman and purchase his instrument with no luck and even posted threads here and there until finally a guy pm'd me with his for sale. I gobbled it up immediately. I just ordered a nice Starrett dial gauge to go with it. To me the TS aligner is the ultimate in engineering and the "all around" alignment tool there is. What's more is it is can be used on more than just table saws. And that includes depth adjustments for router bits.
