This type of tool chest is wasted on me. I never liked the old metal ones, I doubt I'm gonna like this one.

Modular, removable  inserts should be great!  If one of those is placed on top of the regular style Sys- Toolbox it makes an effective lid for the stack while carrying/ transporting......  excellent!

There are 2 types of Midi systainers, Midi 2 (height 157mm) and Midi 3 (height 210mm)
Festool only carries the large Midi 3 until now.
Tanos has both types Midi 2 and Midi 3.
Which one do you mean?

I really don't think it'll take that long. It's just a plastic case.

Looks awesome for some things, but like anything else, will be suboptimal or outright bad for others.  All depends on what you are using it to store.

It's probably a better handle to use if trying to carry a heavy stack of systainers than is the one the "normal" systainers have built-in.

Personally more interested in the SYS MFT right now, but I could see one of these finding a place in my "collection" at some point in the future...

Will the standard festool organizer inserts fit in the new tool box? It looks like they have the same registration points as the organizer does.

It would be handy to be able to grab a few small fasteners and throw them in the box for quick punch listing.
