Here is my boom for my Festool stuff.  It doesn't use a Festool vacuum or hose (gasp!) but the Festool stuff will work just fine.  The trick for me was to be able to use PVC instead of a very long hose, which is rather expensive and doesn't flow air as well as the smooth PVC.  The Bosch hose and the Festool hose will not fit into the PVC, so I just took short lengths of pipe and put them on my wood lathe so I could open up the inner diameter of the pipe.  I used a carbide cutter, and using mostly the sharp corner, I cut a series of shallow ridges so the outside of the hose grabs pretty good.  An extension cord helps as I can easily detach the hose and Festool cord if I need them elsewhere.  The hose hangs from Velcro when not in use.  I used some wood blocks for guides for the pipe.  You can see an adapter laying on top of the vacuum that lets me plug the hose into the Bosch Airsweep when needed elsewhere as I had to remove the factory end fitting in this application.  Works great!
