Does anyone have a vac with a hose garage intact?

A CT-22(-SG), bought in a combo deal with my TS-55, I think in 2006. The hose garage is the -SG part, and was just new at that time. And a CT-26

None of them with cracks. But they largely remain in the garage.

That makes sense, since the hose garage is the thing that sticks out most and bumps into things when transporting it. However, parked under a CS-50... it never contacts with anything.

The hose garage on my CT36 has a couple of cracks. I think many many days over 100 degrees F for several years has something to do with it. Plastic things don't last a long time where I live.

I have a CT36 with just 4 corner post on top. Both my midi garages are fine and one dates back to 2007.

Mine is fine, but sees mostly shop use.  I have to say that it is a great idea for my house remodel projects - I put my systainer tool caddy on the garage and wheel all the hand and cordless tools around with the vacuum.  I would be disappointed if it broke so that it was no longer usable for that.

My 8 year old CT26 is intact, but it spends almost all its life in the workshop, and I don't stack systainers on it.

Mine fell over in van last week and now it has cracks and it will fall apart quickly now.
It will be the third top. I see many that are broken it is a real and cheap weakness.

I purchased both a CT26 and a midi this last summer.  The CT26 was already broken when I opened the box.  It was of course replaced by the vendor.  But still.  Decades of experience in plastics manufacturing, and we have to put up with this?  It's just a little weird some of the idiosyncrasies we accept in pursuit of superior tools.

I recently had to repair the top of my oldest 26 where the work center rests on it. I lazily used it to push myself from my knees after changing the bag and it cracked about 8".  I used pl8 adhesive and filled the hollow channel completely.  It now feels solid as a polyurethane rock.

My 3yo midi is missing bits and has a cracked corner. Treated no different to a cheap vac which is in pristine condition.
It's seems to happen in the cold more.

My CT26 is getting on a bit now and is all in one piece.  The only problem I have with that is the old style systainer catches and I really wish Festool would redesign the top with a T-Loc catch.

My CT Mini did suffer a small bit breaking off the corner of the hose guide on the "garage", but I replaced the whole top with the new T-Loc style, since when it has survived unscathed.

I have a CT36 with an intact hose garage that came that way.  It is in a home shop, so doesn't get tradesman use, but it has survived the granddaughters, who clean my shop once a month or so for spending money.

For all of that, I actually do use the garage quite a bit when I'm in the shop.  I use it to stage whatever tool I'm using at the moment that requires dust collection.  Usually a systainer for the tool I'm using with the CT and another for consumables (dominos or sandpaper).

I can't find a part number for the hose garage for the CT 36. I recall the garage was an accessory for the 33 but standard on the 36.
