Hey guys,

I am trying post an message to this board and wanted to attach an image...  When composing the message, there is a row of Icons at the top and one says "insert image".  However, when I click the button, it just adds the following:  "
"...  No window pops up to allow me to select an image...  How can I add an image to a post.  I am using a iMac, if that matters...

Matt

If you want, email me the image (david@recourses.com), and I'll host it and send you the link.

Matt,

1. Click on "Insert Inline Image..."
2. Select "Attached Image as thumbnail"
3. Click on "Additional Options" underneath the message box.
4. Click Browse and select your photo from your hard drive. Pay attention to the maximum file size allowed.
5. Post your message.

I use a mac too and this method works for me,
Richard.

Richard,

Thanks for helping out.  The limits posted are not accurate anymore, BUT members should realize that huge images may cause frustration and problems.

Matt:  If you numerous images to post, watch this video:  Inserting images

Hey guys,

Thanks for the tips on inserting an image.  I am going to try a test with this image...

[attachthumb=#]

I am trying to find a router bit that will cut the following profile...  It is kind of like an Ogee, but not exactly.  It has an elongated profile...  Our local mill shop sells this stuff and they call it "Mull"...  The depth of the cut seems to be around 1/4" while the width of the cut seems to be s/8"...  I have searched around on the web, including on the Festool site for profiles but can not find anything like this particular bit.  Does anyone have any clue what it is called...  I need to make a lot of the stuff out of Cherry and did not want to pay what they are normally charging per linear foot...

Sorry - now that I was able to post the image, it is the profile on the left or middle...

I am now at my shop.
The bit I have that matches the profile you are looking for is from Eagle America.
The part number is 196-0505.  Bit

Thanks for all of the replies.  So, the profile does seem like the table bit shown above but I think it is much smaller...  The thickness of the molding (from top to bottom in my original pick) is only 3/8"...  It looks like the depth of cut is around 3/16" or possibly 1/4" (from top to bottom)...  The width of the cut (from out side edge inward) seems to be 5/15"...  The hard part is finding such a small ogre bit...  But, as I said, it is just like a very small "table bit"...

Matt

amana has that profile in at least 3 sizes. one of them should work. I'll let you do the research though.  [tongue]

So, looking at one of the previous post (highland), I can see that the type of profile is called a "wide ogee"...  Highland only list one bit, but it is a bit too big...  Thanks for the responses thus far...

It is a Roman Ogee.  Every manufacture has this style.  Here is CMT's CMT.  I think they had already given you the link to Festools.
