Good afternoon!
I know this may be a strange question to ask. My father has a Black and Decker FS1800D-2 cordless drill. When I was home visiting, we were doing some work around the house. We were using the drill. He removed the chuck and the first thing to come to my mind was the Festool C12 and the TDK drills and their interchangeable chucks.
I am curious to know if the interchangeable chucks will work with the Black and Decker FS1800D-2 cordless drill.
Below are two links for the Black and Decker FS1800D-2 drill.

Thank you for your help!

Tom,

Festool's FastFix interchangable chuck system is a patented technology.  As such, it would not compatible with other tools unless it was licensed from Festool which it was not.  I didn't even see anything in the video that would indicate that the drill you referenced is capable of using different chucks.

PS - I removed your other thread because of the cross-posting the same thing in two sections of the forum.

Thank you Shane for your response! I was not sure. With the keyless chuck removed on the B&D, it looked very similar to the C12.
I figure if I don't ask I won't know.
Thanks again!
