Does the Mirka Interface Pad fit the DTS / DTSC 400?

Hi, I'm about to buy a DTSC 400 and I know there's no 'official' interface pad for it, but I found one for the Mirka delta sander which is the same size (100 x 150mm). It has a lot of holes, so I'm going to guess there will be enough overlap with the DTS 400 holes for it to work.

But I was wondering if anyone has actually tried it? Would be great to be use it an interface pad on the DTSC.

Was also wondering if anyone has tried modifying the interface pads for one of the ETS or the RTS sanders to fit the DTS? I'd imagine it would sort of work as long as enough holes line up to give some basic dust extraction?

If you decide to use the pad, make sure it does not - not even partially - block the holes of the DTS. Obstructed airflow will not only drastically impact dust extraction but also cooling. This gets worse when your partially blocked holes then also clog up. …

Kind regards,
Oliver

Different product#s.

Linked interface pad, 7mm thick: 8295901211; Pack of 5: 8295901011

Pad protector pack of 5: 8295902011

7mm interface pad mentioned, with above product#s, on US site:https://www.mirka.com/en-us/support...es-the-deos-delta-663-come-with-an-interface/

Product itself did not show up when searched for on US site.

Kind regards,
Oliver

Thanks for that Oliver... [smile]...like you say, on the US website they only list the pad saver 8295902011.  [sad]

The product pages and images for those two products are very similar indeed, but I’m quite sure I ordered the interface pad. Should be here in a few days, will report how well it works.

I overlayed two images of the festool and mirka patterns in Photoshop and the holes seem to line up almost perfectly. Now hoping the hook and loop works well together too between the two brands.

Received the pads today, haven't tried sanding with them yet, but both the shape and hook and loop match perfectly. The Mirka has a few extra holes the DTS / DTSC 400 don't, but the big holes all line up exactly. Connection with hook and loop feels sturdy as well.

So no need to buy the RTSC just for using interface pads it seems!
