I noticed that Rockler has the domino accessory kit with T-Loc Systainer priced at $250. This kit is normally priced at $285. I don't know why they have it priced for less, but it will save you a few bucks if you need one. Unfortunately, I just received the kit today from another dealer at full price. [sad]

Without going there and looking, could be one of the older style kits that had a different variety of Dominos and cutters.  They changed the kit a few years back, but it's possible there are still some of the old ones around selling at a discount.

Since the difference in price is only $35, be cautious.

That is less than the list price of a 4mm Domino cutter with a bag of 4mm Dominoes. Those were added to the kit when the 4mm Dominoes were introduced.

Maybe if you are sure you will not need those mini-Dominoes, then the discounted kit could be a good deal for you.

The minis are a lot handier than I ever expected. I'd go ahead and pay full price, since Festool controls the prices everywhere. Lower price=something screwy.

Just look at part number, wouldn't that tell you if it's the newer container or not? I would like the older units have a different part number. Is that not the case?

I ordered one and received it a little bit ago in anticipation of purchasing a Domino.  It is the newer style with the 4mm cutter and "mini" domino's.  Hope that helps.  I thought it might have been a typo on their part??

You're correct, I'm pretty sure they are different part numbers.

I took my domino to work  [big grin] two of the 21 guys on site knew what it was (not including me) I think that one for sure is going to get one.  I recently bought the accessory kit - nice to have! I guess you have to use it a while to appreciate what it can do. (it goe's home with me at night)
Most of the guys on the work site know about the kapex  though. I won't take that in! the chances that it will end up outside in the snow/rain is just too painful to think about.
It sure would be nice to have a kapex there, as the old 8" hitachi's are.. um..... not so good. LOL
