domino alignment issue

I bought a used domino which was in very good condition.  The alignment between the stop pins is very slightly off, if I had to guess I'd say by about 1/3 of a millimeter, probably even slightly less than that. It's small enough that I consider it well within the bounds of an acceptable discrepancy, but that doesn't mean I don't want to get it perfect.  I loosened the set screw, but I cant get the pin bushing to turn.  I'm using a slotted driver that's very nearly as big as I can fit in the slot.  Has anyone had a similar issue, or can anyone tell me what to do in the event of a damaged pin bushing?  It looks like the bushing could be popped out from behind the fence using a punch through the hole in the back of its casing, but I didn't want to do this without first seeking advice.  Thanks, and merry christmas!
 
Do you have the pins or the dogs?  With the dogs there is a way to swap one of them out for one that is slightly narrower to remove alignment.  I had a .007 misalignment that I was able to reduce to a .002 using this method.  Presumably you could order them through Festool.

The supplemental manual goes through how to do the process.
 
Mine turns easily once the lock screw id loosened. You may need to remove the screw, pop the piece out, clean it and rest the pin position.

Do you really even want to worry about it? That's a very small difference; somewhere in the range of less than 1/128 of an inch if I am calculating correctly. I don't think you can make an adjustment that will get it better than that. When you assemble parts, there is always some slight give in the wood when clamping anyway. Adjust if it makes you more satisfied but I'd try it without for awhile.
 
I'm wondering if you may not have some stray loc-tight around the barrel. You could try heating it up a little bit and see if it moves better. It doesn't take a lot of heat. You could set the fence assembly in about 1/8" of hot water to warm it up.

So it looks like whatever the solution to this problem, it's something that won be worth the effort for such a small discrepancy.  I also noticed that the discrepancy seemed slightly less when I moved up to the 6mm tenons.  If at some point the misalignment falls out of the range of acceptability I'll decide what to do then.
