Domino connectors for inside mitres?

I'm going to be building a "double-reverse" waterfall bar for a client. See photo for explanation.

Can I get Domino connnectors to work for the 2 mitred joints? I want to build this in my shop, transport it in the 3 pieces, then assemble easily on site. I cannot figure out which connectors might work, or is this a virtually impossible request?

The Lamello snap connectors would be ideal but I don't have that machine.

Open to other ideas!

I assume you're using veneer core counter tops, therefore you need the miters...

From the photo, I can't see why dominos won't work.  After you set the cabinets, you'll attach the short vertical counter top section to the lower section.  Then slide it over close (not tight) to the taller cabinets.  Then attach the upper counter top portion to the vertical.  Then slide over tight to the tall cabinets.  If you screw down the counter top fast enough, it will take care of the clamping for you.

You'll want to dry fit the upper section to the vertical section, push it tight and scribe where it meets the wall first.  Then you can glue up as above.

I don't think you can use domino connectors to pull this together (assuming you are talking about the mechanical ones in either the 8 or 14 mm size), but you could use a mitered connector like the zipbolt (http://www.leevalley.com/us/wood/page.aspx?p=71048&cat=2,71685). It would be able to be drilled out without more tools, and maybe work well in tandem with a couple of actual domino joints on the miter for a little bit of strength.

Thanks Mark. The bar is going to be 1 or 2 full-length live edge walnut slabs. Those are good ideas. The assembly process is similar to what I was thinking, which is good confirmation.

I have not seen or used those zipbolts. Do they pull tight for more heavy-duty applications like slabs?

I assume it would pull tight enough, but I have no experience with them to know. I do have a good amount of experience with the 8 mm domino connectors and haven't figured out any way to make them work on a miter though.
