Got to say I was at least hoping someone would have responded to attending the demo on Saturday, not even the old friends chimed in yet...wow

I would come, but I have a lathe class at 2PM.... in Reno.

Have fun though! One day I would like to get out that way and visit The Nut!

  I had a great time up there last month on the 17th. I went up to look at the Dominos. I couldn't make up my mind as to the 500 or 700. So, instead I picked up a Carvex, the Caevex Accessory Kit, a bunch of blades, the Collins Coping Foot, and a CT 36. Oh, and a few Systainers and some FastCap stuff. I figured I couldn't leave empty handed. lol

  I got to meet all the knowledgeable ToolNut staff and put names to faces. I got some great tips from BuilderBob and Sal. And it was nice to meet Ken Barone the Festool Rep.

  I brought a buddy of mine with me that day. He wanted to look at a Kapex. After Ken demoed it for him, he walked out with a Kapex and the Kapex UG Set.

  I'm looking forward to going back up this Saturday to make my final decision on a 500 or 700.

I would love to come, but I get a short leash on the weekends, so it's not in the cards. The trade off is I getting a longer leash with the tools budget, so The Nut shipped my 700 a few weeks ago. Have fun playing with the toys!!
