Domino DF 500 Support Bracket

Mine cracked sometime during the 1st 15 - 20 plunges.  I didn't even realize it until the following day.  A new one isn't that expensive ($26), but it seems like a pretty easy thing to break.  Is anyone aware of an aftermarket replacement that might be a bit more sturdy?

I don't know of an alternative but you certainly could make something up yourself easily enough.  Also, it might be worth a call to Festool, explain the situation and see if they will work with to resolve this.
