Domino DF500 Connectors Parts - When/where can I buy just the parts I need?

I recently got the DF500 Connector kit and have been using it on a couple of pieces I'm building. I know I'll be building more of these and I'd like to replenish my connector supplies with just the parts I need (ie: just the threaded rod portion of the KV-LR32). Currently, it appears that I can only buy the complete KV-LR32 assemblies and only in quantities of 50. Any word on the availability of quantities of individual connector parts?

I guess a good perspective is that you'll need all parts of a certain connector for a certain connection, thus getting only the rods would be eating into the part budgets of the other kind of connectors in the kit. From that it IMHO makes sense to get all the parts for the one connector type you seem to use exclusively, as that will keep the point of the kit (having all kinds of connectors at hand when you need them) intact.

Or sell the unneeded connector types to someone who uses them, for that they'll need to be complete though.

You can only buy the complete assemblies and Im guessing thats how itll stay.

At this point these items are only available in quantities of 50. If that's more than you need, you might have success selling the extra ones here on the FOG.

Drudging up on old dead (horse) thread so I can flog it one more time....

I'm getting ready to build my first project using the connectors, and I purchased the entire systainer set.

The problem is this: The mix of parts in the set are not balanced. What I mean by that, is that while there are tons of the most common parts of the connectors (plastic mortise inserts and their associated parts), and then there are a smaller number of the posts that screw into the 5mm Sys32 holes (as opposed to those that need a matching domino mortise to be cut).

While I have plenty of the domino insert halves, I only have enough of the 5mm screw in posts for about 20 joints. And this is the most common use case for me.

What I SHOULD be able to do is to purchase the 5mm posts STANDALONE to match them with the rest of the KV-LR32 D8 Parts that I HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED in the set.

Apparently Festool feels this is the more seldom used option (in favor of domino or through hole sys32 on a common divider), but for me the purchase of the entire set is looking like it was a bit of a waste.

Yes, I was able to purchase small number of KV-LR32 D8 connectors on eBay, but it's still making me pay for domino mortise parts that I shouldn't need to buy.

FESTOOL: Sell all the different connector parts individually and in bulk!!!!!!!

The KV-LR32 D8/50 (203168) contain all parts for that connection type. You'll need all of them anyway, getting only the rods would end you with having parts missing for the other styles of connectors in your kit.

The only thing they IMHO should sell as spares are the D8 expansion anchors, as these are effectively single-use - all other parts of the connectors can be easily recovered for reuse.

Huh what? The set contains x amount of complete sets, you can perfectly make a certain amount of joints using up ALL components in the set.

Sounds what you really want is to unbalance the set yourself by using up some parts "intended" for a different type of joint.  [huh]
