I am making a triangle flag display case where i dont want to use metal fasteners or splines of any sort, I want it to be all hidden domino's. I have pretty much figured it out, however I have to hold the domino on wood ends that are 45 degrees angles and if the domino isnt held perfectly still in the exact spot then the angles wont line up as they should.
I can secure the work piece in different ways so that they dont move but the tool can still rock on the angle if not held perfect. I am wondering if anyone has done this type of mitered joinery and if you have any tips or ideas for jigs?
completed case
this is the bottom piece right end
bottom piece and right side piece going together ( this is where i sometime have trouble, if the domino rocks on the angle or it;s not perfectly flat against the piece it can mess up the mortise and then the angles wont come together perfect )
top point where left and right come together (dont usually have any problem on this joint)
hope this makes sense, thanks in advance for any help, ideas
