Domino issue...has anyone else had this problem?

Has anyone else had one of the threaded inserts come loose from the baseplate of their domino?  This is the second time it's happened to me in the last year and a half and it's pretty frustrating since I can't use the baseplate for attachments.  I sent it in to get repaired the first time it happened and now I'm looking at having to do the same thing again. Any suggestions? I can't just screw it back in because it has some spring to it so it's hard to get a good grip on it without compressing it too much.

Have you tried using a bolt and a nut as a stop to install.  It looks like Helicoil.

Looks like a Helicoil insert. The only way to reset it is to replace it.

I've never had that issue. I'll have to look at mine to see if it has inserts. Makes sense if it does, the coil is stainless steel land will wear better than the base. Loctite once cured will not affect the base thumb screws once it cures.

That's what I was worried about.  I guess I'll just have to send it in again.  As always, poor timing since I'm in the middle of a job.

Cool, learned something new today, it's still early.

Shane is that just a Helicoil?

I'm not sure. We have a group of guys who knows that sort of thing, the service team.

Lucky for you guys, I don't work on the tools.  [embarassed]
