I have had my Domino for 10 years or more. I can't remember just when I bought it but it been a while. I have always had minor accuracy issue with it. I believe both the base and the fence is not flat. Please watch the video and see what you think.

I have done this on several know flat surfaces with the same results. Also if it sit the base on a flat surface with the fence it the up postilion and put a square on each side of the fence one side is square and the other is off a bit.

Hope this makes sense.

Richard,

I'm not trying to discredit what you perceive as your base being unflat, but I think the test you conducted may not be accurate. Just the small size of the base and the weight distribution of the machine can make it rock the way you're testing. Your fingers appear to be pulling up in the front and the ball of your hand is behind the base pushing down.

I would suggest checking it with a reliable and accurate ruler or other straightedge.

The operator must be careful not to introduce movement when using the tool to maintain precision.

Shane thanks for your reply. Let me do some more checking. I'll post back but it will have to be tomorrow.

I don't think there anything wrong with it cause mine does the same thing .It like Shane said the weight is in the back even if set my domino on a flat surface ,there a little gap in the front of the base because of the weight .

looks flat to me, you have more leverage than you think holding it by the tail, this i had to find out on my own
