Does anyone know what cutters come with a new DF500? I'm getting ready to order one but no description says what size cutters are included. Thanks!

I have recently bought the Domino 500, I also bought the Dominio accessory kit. It gets you kitted out with all that you need to get working straight away. Includes a selection of Dominos, set of cutters all in a systainer
So yes I would say that it is well worth the price.
Beware once you you get the machine you will be looking for things to make and use up your spare timber doing practice joints. It is a brilliant machine.  [big grin]

Agree totally with getting the accessory kit.

Another great addition is the Domiplate from Seneca. It screws onto the base of the Domino to perfectly position the tool for either 3/4" or 1/2" plywood or other wood with those dimensions.

You probably know the Domino needs a good strong vac to connect to its dust port.

The Domino is a wonderful tool, but it requires good technique to get good results.

Watch Halfinchshy's YouTube videos. The videos cover calibration and technique. He has "tricks" that will save you time and reduce scrapping valuable wood.

Practicing on scrap wood is a good idea before you tackle a project.

+1 on the Domiplate - that accessory is crazy good, accurate and fast! Can't live without it.

+3 on the Accessory kit. I must admit that I first thought the kit was too expensive after initially shelling out $900 for the DF500 so I opted to only buy a 4mm bit and purchase the 4 and 5mm dominos. I was wrong. I immediately found so many uses for the DF500 that I had to purchase the kit because I needed the larger size bits and dominos.

Both products are worth every penny. My favorite Festool (or any tool) in my quiver.

Thanks everyone for the clarification on the cutters. I will definitely be getting the domino tenon assortment and the cutters. I already have one of the dust extractors. I just landed a nice job for custom cabinets so using it as an excuse to get this bad boy. Nothing wrong with biscuits but mortise and tenon is the way to go. Thanks again.

+1 more on the domiplate too. Especially since you'll be doing cabinets soon.
